Don’t tell me you just went old school!

VintageI just checked a post over at the Brainy Gamer and thought I might share a kickass idea. He is running a vintage gaming club online which works on the same concept as a book club, as in grab a game, play it, discuss. The catch is that the game has to be vintage, ie: “characterized by excellence, maturity, and enduring appeal”. The enduring appeal is the thing that might very well sucker me in.

As much as I like to play games, my time can be a bit scattered and the general feel of the club is that it will go at its own pace and really appreciate the game. I’ve always loved to talk games but being as anti-fanboy as I can be and with some games coming out, it’s hard to keep a level head. Not saying that I don’t have my own moments of gibbering blather on games that may otherwise not really be the best, but this does look like a great idea.
